Types of drones

Small-sized drones are between 20 cm and 1 meter. They are equipped with different types of motors, some of which are thrown into the air by hand to start the flight, while others use powerful brushless motors. These types of drones are trendy on the market for the general public because of the great features and the affordable price compared to large drones.

Medium-sized drones have a range of 1 to 5 meters. They are most often used for the transport of goods or the transport of intelligence or reconnaissance equipment by the military. They can fly within a radius of up to 50 km, and their flight time can reach up to 6 hours.

The group of large drones includes drones that reach a range of more than 10 m. The army uses them, and civilian users cannot purchase such a drone because it is considered a small aircraft.
