Before you start working with your action camera, read the instructions carefully. We'll give you a few easy initial steps to set up your camera.

1. Download the DJI Mimo app

The Mimo app will allow you to easily edit and share the content you capture.

2. Press the power button on the camera.

3. Pair the app with DJI Action 2, via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on your phone.

4. Once the app connects, you will receive a prompt on the camera to activate the device.

5. Follow the instructions from the app to complete the activation process.

The DJI Mimo app automatically sends notifications of updates.

What is D-Cinelike?

With D-Cinelike, you can capture footage with a wider dynamic range and more balanced colours. Even the dark parts of your photos look significantly better. Lower contrast video with a flat colour profile makes post-production easier.

You can turn on and unlock the front or rear screen via the menu and have them work simultaneously or leave just one of the screens on. To switch to portrait mode you need to rotate the camera 90°. If, however, HorizonSteady is on, you will only be able to shoot in landscape mode.

DJI Action 2 supports voice commands in English.

1. Telescopic handle
