DJI Mavic 3E and Mavic 3T are part of the Mavic 3 Enterprice professional series, which builds on the Mavic 3 series of consumer drones. Both new drones offer up to 45-minute flight time, and DJI Mavic 3T also features a 640х512 thermal camera.
The new drones are based on DJI Mavic 3, but the Enterprise series is different from its consumer predecessor in that these drones are designed to be used for inspections, rescue operations, night flying and many other applications.
Overview of the Mavic 3E and Mavic 3T
DJI Mavic 3E and Mavic 3T feature effectively the same compact design as the Mavic 3. The differences with DJI Mavic 3 are mainly technical, and between the two new Mavic 3E and Mavic 3T models the main difference is the actual cameras.
DJI Mavic 3T offers a dedicated thermal imaging camera with a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels, an equivalent focal length of 40mm and a field of view of 61 degrees. This allows point and zone temperature measurements, temperature warnings, color palettes and isotherms, to help you find your targets and make on-the-spot quick decisions.
The thermal imaging and zoom cameras also support 28x continuous zoom, side by side for an easy comparison.
DJI Mavic 3E has a 20 MP ultra wide-angle camera with a 4/3 CMOS sensor and a mechanical shutter, along with a Tele camera with 56x hybrid zoom.
The camera’s mechanical shutter can run at 0.7 seconds to reduce motion blur when shooting moving subjects.
Both drones have an improvement in low-light performance. This is achieved thanks to the wide-angle camera, large 3.3µm pixels and the special intelligent low-light mode.
Easy operation
The Enterprise series drones are suitable for both professionals and novice pilots thanks to their easy and intuitive controls.
45 minutes of flight time
DJI Mavic 3E and 3T also offer up to 45 minutes of flight time on a single battery charge. Interestingly for their intended application in the corporate segment, the flight time allows an area of up to two square kilometres to be inspected in just one mission.
Compact and easily portable
The drones weigh 915 grams (3E) and 920 grams (3T) respectively. When folded, with propellers retracted, they fit in any pocket and bag thanks to their dimensions of 221 x 96.3 x 90.3 mm.
Maximum speed
The maximum speed the Enterprise series drones can reach is 15 m/s, the maximum flight length is 32 km.
You can record videos in H.264 format and in 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) at up to 30 frames per second. DJI Mavic 3E offers a maximum data rate of 130 Mbps in 4K, while in 3T it is 85 Mbps.
The new drones are controlled with the DJI RC Pro Enterprise controller. It has a 1000 nits ultra bright screen, which contributes to easier reading even in direct sunlight. The controller also features a built-in microphone for clear communication and can be charged in just 1.5 hours with a 65W fast charge.
