DJI Care Video Verification

Thank you for your interest in DJI Care. Please read this notice completely before using the DJI Care Video Verification service.

  1. By using this service, you acknowledge that you understand what DJI Care is.
  2. Only submit verification videos of products eligible for DJI Care and DJI Care Refresh. Videos of products not eligible for DJI Care and DJI Care Refresh will not pass video verification.
  3. If you need to verify your aircraft, please sign in to your DJI account. To avoid unnecessary complications, do not use anyone else’s DJI account.
  4. Please ensure that your personal information and aircraft serial number are accurate and true. DJI is not responsible for any false or inaccurate information.
  5. Be sure to watch the DJI Care Video Verification tutorial in its entirety. Pay attention to the steps shown in the video and record yours accordingly. Remember to record your video in an open area with clear visibility.
  6. For questions about recording your video, please contact DJI Support via https://www.dji.com/support for assistance.
  7. Do not edit your video. Edited videos will not pass verification.
  8. Retain a copy of your video after submitting it.
  9. Make sure you have a good network connection when uploading the video to YouTube and that the link will be valid for 6 months. If the video link is invalid, you will need to provide a new video of the same aircraft within 3 days of receiving notification from DJI.
  10. Change your network connection if your video fails to upload. If you are still unable to upload your video after several attempts, please contact DJI Support via https://www.dji.com/support for assistance.
  11. No costs will be charged for video verification.
  12. All information provided to DJI will remain private and confidential.
  13. The DJI Official Maintenance team will review your verification video according to verification standards for the relevant product within 3 business days. Please pay attention to the email account associated with your DJI account for communications from DJI. DJI reserves the right of final interpretation for the video verification service.

Video Verification Standards

Before shooting the live screen capture, please pay attention to the instructions below

  • Before recording the live screen capture, please make sure the aircraft, remote controller, and mobile device are connected.

  • Please record the video in an environment where the GPS signal is strong.
  • DO NOT edit your video.
  • Two kinds of verification video sample: DJI Go 4, DJI Fly

Video Verification Process

When recording the aircraft verification video, please record the following content in order.

Step 1: Show the flight controller’s serial number

1. Power on the aircraft and connect to it, open screen recording, launch DJI GO 4(DJI Fly), and then tap “GO FLY”. Enter the general settings interface by tapping the icon on the top right of the screen, and tap “About” to show the flight controller’s serial number.

Step 2: Show the gimbal performance

2. Go to the gimbal setting menu, then start the gimbal auto-calibration. After the calibration is completed, toggle the gimbal dial on the remote controller to make sure the gimbal can move upward and downward.

Step 3: Check the flight status

3. Go back to the camera view and tap the flight status bar on the top left of the screen to enter the aircraft status list. Slowly scroll down the page to the bottom, to confirm there are no error reports. (For DJI DO 4)

4. Go back to the camera view and tap the flight status bar on the top left of the screen to enter the aircraft status list, confirm there are no error reports. (For DJI Fly)

Step 4: Show the camera view

5. Go back to the camera view and stay at least 3 seconds, confirm that the GPS signal, remote controller signal, and the video transmission signal are normal.

6. Stop recording.
